 Did you Know...

Strength training (briefly working your muscles on a regular basis a little more than they are
accustomed to working
)
is the primary weapon against aging, and all the complications that come
along with it.

Osteoporosis - Once thought to only slow down bone loss, strength training is now known to ADD
bone density.

Arthritic Pain - According to research, strength training is one of the best ways to get relief
from your arthritis!

Diabetes - Poor glucose metabolism associated with Type II diabetes, one study has found
that after 4 months of strength training, there was an average increased glucose uptake
of 23%.

Strength training causes your muscles to become stronger and more toned.  This also helps in
strengthing your tendons, ligaments, and bones, and making your joints more stable and less prone
to injury.
